Fitness Session 2 to maintain optimal performance

It is important that your whole squad are able to consistently perform well for the full 15-minute quarters and the full duration of the game.

What's in the session?

The session begins with a fun warm-up game to get your players heartbeat raised but also get them thinking about their movement and tactically how they can maintain possession to secure points. The session develops to provide a number of drills that mix up the speed, intensity and duration of your players movements, to replicate a game situation, as your players do not simply run continuously. These drills will get your players tired but also ensure they maintain their quality of movement and skills whilst under fatigue. This is really put to the test in the final game that concludes the session.

Get your players performing consistently whilst under fatigue in order to pull ahead in those tight situations.
